WorldAir Serbia commences Belgrade-Tirana service

Air Serbia commences Belgrade-Tirana service

Air Serbia today launched a three-times-per-week service from Belgrade to Tirana, the capital and largest city of Albania. The service celebrates the resumption of flights between these two cities, following the last flight in 2009.

Air Serbia’s Chief Executive Officer, Dane Kondić, said: “The re-introduction of services to Tirana benefits the more than two million Albanian diaspora in Europe with increased travel options and connectivity over our Belgrade hub to their homeland. The route will also further contribute to the growth of Albania’s inbound tourism. To celebrate the services, we have recently introduced a limited-time special fare for return Economy Class flights between Belgrade and Tirana starting from 99 EUR.”

Air Serbia’s recently elected Chairman of the Board, Siniša Mali, said: “The new service reinforces the significant progress Air Serbia is making with its operation and network expansion. In less than a year, our national airline has managed to re-connect the region and position itself as the leading carrier in the Balkans.”
